Ishmael to Isaac: The White Rose Call to Evangelical Peacemakers
The objective of the Texas "White Rose Call to Evangelical Peacemakers" campaign is to extend a message of love and peace to all pastors across Texas and invite them to engage as peacemaker ambassadors in local and global peace initiatives of their choosing. This is the second step in the "Faith Leader Peacemakers Calling and Commissioning" Process.
Volunteers from Muslim communities will visit every Texas church, meet with church pastors and their assistants and present each with a gift package containing the following:
1- A fresh white rose in a vase
2 - Invitation to audition for "Sacred Rivals on Vacation". All travel and accommodation expenses paid + $2000 Coupon for dental or hair transplant treatment in Turkey - Total 100 pastors will be selected.
3 - The Nobel Quran - Translated to English
4 - Evangelical-Friendly Book: The Recital: A 23-Year Extraordinary Phenomenon in the Wilderness by Ayman Alhasan
5 - Evangelical-Friendly Book: Dear Pastors and Priests: Messages From Peace-Loving Muslim Families by Ayman Alhasan
Peacemakers and the Evangelical Witness Recovering a Biblical Mandate
:
The call to peacemaking holds a vital and honored place within the biblical narrative. Jesus' words in the Sermon on the Mount—“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9, ESV)—clearly establish peacemaking as a distinguishing mark of those who follow Him. Yet, despite the profound significance of this teaching, contemporary evangelical culture—particularly in the West—has often prioritized evangelism and missionary outreach while giving less attention to peacemaking and humanitarian engagement. While the focus on gospel proclamation remains essential, this imbalance has contributed to a global perception in which Evangelicals are more commonly associated with bold cultural stances (i.e., cowboy culture) than with active efforts toward reconciliation and peacebuilding. In response, The "Ishmael to Isaac White Rose Call to Peacemakers" campaign seeks to reintroduce and cultivate a biblically rooted culture of goodwill and peacemaking within the Evangelical community in the United States.
